Ioannis Perisoratis is an architect and artist based in Thessaloniki, Greece. His work explores the intersection of art and technology, focusing on computational design, digital fabrication and mechatronics. After earning a Diploma in Architecture from the Department of Architecture of AUTH, Greece, and a Master of Science in Architecture, Urbanism, and Building Technology from TU Delft, Netherlands, he worked as an artist for LAb[au] in Brussels, Belgium.
In 2017, he established his practice in Thessaloniki, equipped with a digital fabrication laboratory featuring 3D printers, CNC routers, laser cutters, and conventional machinery for processing materials such as wood, plastics, and metals. His projects span across diverse disciplines, including art, archeology, entertainment, and industry.

Art
At the intersection of computational design, digital fabrication, and mechatronics, Ioannis explores form-finding techniques using parametric design tools and advanced fabrication processes. His work includes kinetic and light-based artworks that merge algorithmic logic, custom electronics, and mechanical systems with geometric explorations of color and form.

Performance
Development of technologies for interactive dance performances, in collaboration with Die Wolke Art Group. Motion tracking systems, custom electronics, and responsive visualizations seamlessly integrate with performers’ movements, enhancing the interplay between technology and live performance.

Archeology
Production of detailed digital 3D models of ancient architectural elements using photogrammetry techniques. The process involves the extraction of geometric principles to design and construct molds through digital fabrication methods, including 3D printing and CNC routing. These molds enable mortar or plaster casting, creating precise replicas or restoring missing parts in ancient structures.

Entertainment
Automations, dynamic structures, custom light systems, and interactive controllers are designed to elevate theme parks and entertainment spaces. Projects also include 3D animations and holographic installations that immerse viewers in captivating visual narratives, creating engaging and unforgettable experiences.

Industry
Design and production of advanced apparatus for industrial applications, seamlessly integrated into IoT systems. These solutions prioritize precision, efficiency, and high-level connectivity, enabling enhanced automation, real-time monitoring, and data-driven optimization within industrial workflows.
